Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area encompasses 2,154 acres within the Arizona Sonoran Desert. It’s a beautiful area to hike in with many ancient Saguaro cacti standing 40-70’ tall. Each cactus looks almost human to me with its own unique personality. When I see a group of them together they remind me of a gathered community. Hence, the reason for this painting’s name, Cacti Community.
