Every year my husband and I head up north to chop down our Christmas tree. We always buy a permit to do this. I do feel bad about cutting down a beautiful tree from the forest, but I guess it’s necessary for regeneration. When the holiday season is over I hate taking my tree down because it's usually still very fresh. So, I painted some of the tree’s branches to make it last forever!
