My husband and I spend our winters in sunny Arizona. But, before we were married, I lived in Michigan during the snowy season. On this day there was a few feet of freshly fallen snow on the ground. My dog, Paulo, and I took a hike through the woods and I snapped some pics. The trees looked so pretty with the blanket of white beneath them. I enjoyed painting the vertical shapes of the trees popping up out of the puffy white snow cushion, and using lots of fun colors to create the forest’s depth.
