Portugal has many old stone houses built into the mountains. The craftsmanship is amazing. As we hiked by them, I felt the history within their old rocks. The settings were serene. I remember the day being misty and feeling damp, and the skies were cloudy, almost white. In this painting, I used a lot of blue paint to reproduce that cool vibe. What’s your painting palette like?
