This is a tiny painting of my tiny studio in Arizona. The space is probably smaller than some women’s closets. I have to tip-toe around my wet canvases to make sure I don’t knock them over. These small spaces paintings are complicated because there are so many little shapes and colors within them. Painting them is a great way for me to use restraint with my color choices in order to not overly complicate the look of the painting. Remember to KISS—Keep It Simple Stupid!!!!
