Walking around the tiny city of Luxembourg was a pleasant surprise. I ended up there on a flight cancellation and reroute. Never having been there before, I took the time to explore its beautiful gardens. It was May and many of the spring flowers were in bloom. I snapped photos of these colorful tulips knowing that when back in my studio I would paint them. And, here they are!
