Hiking through the mountains in Portugal with my sister was very special. We had a chance to create some new memories together. I took a lot of photographs, especially of all the flowers. This painting was made from one of my favorite wild flower fields. I thought the shape of the flowers was so unusual. I had never seen anything like it in America. Is there a uniquely shaped flower that you’ve seen in another country? What do you remember about it that made it appear different?
